Anger Management

Image by Nature Explorer via Flickr

There are many sites around with ‘zen’ in their title, the goodlifezen is a new one to me. Today I came across a post on that site about anger management, called “The Camel’s Back“. Obviously the title refers to the phrase, ‘the last straw that broke the camel’s back.’

The post is a detailed one that makes great reading. It starts by looking at resentment and goes on to explain how explosions of anger can be very harmful to relationships. It then offers some tips and advice on how to avoid angry explosions.

Anger management is important not just in personal relationships but also in work and other social settings. If you find yourself getting angry and then allowing this anger to explode or manifest itself in disproportionate responses, then perhaps you could benefit from anger management. Certainly this post is a good place to start in understanding the nature of anger management and how it may be controlled.
