Day #366 - 8/8/08 - Completely.

You’ll find a lot of talk about ‘Life Purpose’ on the net. It seems that one of the things each of us should do is find ot what our life purpose is.

Steve Pavlina on his blog offers the following steps to help find your life purpose in just 20 minutes;

  1. Take out a blank sheet of paper or open up a word processor where you can type (I prefer the latter because it’s faster).
  2. Write at the top, “What is my true purpose in life?”
  3. Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn’t have to be a complete sentence. A short phrase is fine.
  4. Repeat step 3 until you write the answer that makes you cry. This is your purpose.

You’ll find this here

Of course, this approach is likely to generate lots, maybe hundreds, of possible answers for some people and, for others, it may not easily generate many answers at all. I guess it all depends how ‘in tune’ you are with yourself.

Do not despair, though, Steve Pavlina has other methods to help you discover your life purpose, which you can find here.

In all these articles are part of a wider series of articles on Life purpose which can be found on Steve Pavlina’s website. These are all well worth reading and will provide you with great insights and practical tips into discovering your life purpose.
