Not surprisingly, the author hedges his bets by saying that this question has a ‘yes and a no answer’. I guess the answer really depends upon what you call successful and also what you call exciting.

The author states “Living a successful life often requires us to do things that we do not find enjoyable.” Which is an interesting statement but unfortunately there are no examples in the post to justify it. It made me think that if there are things in your life that you have to do but which you do not find enjoyable, then is your life really successful? Surely it would be more successful if you could remove those things that you do not find enjoyable?

The post is only the first of five, which look at different aspects of successful living, hopefully in subsequent articles, the author will explore more deeply some of those things that may be necessary for a successful life but which are not enjoyable.

This first post looks at business or career success and present the reader with 3 ideas that could help in achieving business and career success. Each point has its merit and I shall not dwell on them here. So I do recommend you pop over to the website and read the post for yourself.
